Statement on Restrictive Practices
LAST recognises that restrictive practice may be one part of a broader positive behaviour support approach that people receiving services use.
As a registered NDIS provider LAST is required to comply with regulation and legislation about the safe implementation of restrictive practice.
LAST is committed to building systems and processes that ensure the safest support is delivered to people with restrictive practices in place.
LAST is committed to reducing and eliminating the use of restrictive practices.
LAST ensures that all restrictive practices are implemented in accordance with approved behaviour support plans, are the least restrictive option available, and are regularly reviewed with the aim of reduction and elimination.
Safeguarding Code of Conduct
LAST is committed to the safety and protection of children, young adults and vulnerable people in all its work.
LAST staff work within clear behavioural guidelines and expectations designed to protect all people who come into contact with our organisation from harm, particularly children and vulnerable adults.

This commitment applies across all service environments, including supported accommodation, community access, and in-home supports.
