Participate in Community, Social and Civic Activities

This service will assist and/or supervise people to participate actively in the community of their choice, attend social and civic activities, as well as participation in recreational activities by developing and enhancing their skills.

We have many developed community links within Townsville to assist a person identify and link into the community of their choice.

$66.45/hour Monday-Friday 6am-8pm

$73.21/hour Monday-Friday Afternoon shifts finishing after 8pm.

Daily Personal Activities, including High Intensity

We will assist and/or support people to undertake personal tasks of daily life to enable them to live as autonomously as possible. These supports are provided individually to people and can be delivered in a range of environments, including but not limited to, the person's own residential home.

Support Staff will possess the required specialist skill set required for the individual person with higher intensity support requirements.

Daily Personal Activities - Level 1 intensity (higher rates apply for Level 2 & 3 intensity)

Development of Daily Living and Life Skills 

These supports focus on training and development activities undertaken to increase a person's ability to live as autonomously as possible. These supports may be used to enhance the ability for a person to travel and use public transport independently, to develop skills for participation in the community and in recreational or social settings.

This service can also be delivered as individual personal training in a person's own home for general life skills to increase independence.

$74.63/hour Monday-Friday 6am-8pm

Assistance with Daily Life Tasks in a Group or Shared Living Arrangement

Short Term Accommodation (STA) This support integrates self-care, accommodation, food and activities in a residence for a short period. It includes all expenses, and can be used for up to 14 consecutive days. This type of support may informally be known as "respite care".

STA daily rates depend on the ratio of staff to participant/s (eg: 1:1 or 1:4).

 

Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) This support covers accommodation costs, associated with the participant's transition prior to moving into a more permanent home/residential setting. This support typically would be used for periods of up to 90 days, and does not include food or other every day living costs.

MTA rates $146.75/night

 

Supported Independent Living (SIL) This support includes assistance and/or supervision of daily life tasks while the person is residing in a shared living environment, in their own home (which can be either temporary or ongoing) with a focus on developing the skills of each individual to live as autonomously as possible.

This support category requires a quotation to be submitted to the NDIS for approval.

Assistance with Personal Domestic Activities

These support a person to maintain their residential home environment. This support includes house cleaning activities and/or maintenance jobs around the person's home.

Cleaning $55.03/hour Monday-Friday can include (but not limited to):

• Air Conditioner filters

• Ceiling Fans

• Washing Windows

• Pressure Washing

• Bathrooms, Laundry & Garage washout

• Kitchens, Range Hoods & Defrosting Freezers

• Spring Cleaning

 

Assistance with Household Tasks

House or Yard Maintenance $54.07/hour Monday-Friday can include (but not limited to):

• Yard and Lawn Care

• Repairing fly screen

• Changing of light bulbs

• Testing of smoke alarms

• Fixing cabinetry, door handles, drawers

House Cleaning or Household Activities $53.09/hour Monday-Friday can include (but not limited to):

• Cleaning out gutters

• Patching walls and painting

• Painting and or deck/timber staining

• Washing down walls inside or outside
